Art 4 Kids is a program designed to use the beauty and power of art to change the lives of children. The program is two-fold, working on multiple levels to bring assistance and aid to children through art.
The Art 4 Kids Virtual Exhibit is a place where the world can view, enjoy, and purchase works from artists from Costa Rica as well as international artists who are sponsoring our cause. Artists agree to donate a significant portion of profits earned through the sales of paintings, prints, and sculptures to the giving branch of E4 Initiatives. Donations are used to support programs and projects that directly impact the quality of life for children in Costa Rica. These programs include but are not limited to assisting children suffering from physical, psychological, and socio economic abuse, local schools, as well as community safety and recreation development.
Each purchase from the Art 4 Kids Virtual Exhibit is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, and an independent witness as well as written thoughts from the artist. An official receipt is also provided for your donation, with the recipient, amount, and any materials or resources that were purchased with the donation. You will also receive periodic updates through our newsletter on the status of the project or program that you generously supported through your purchase.
Many agree that when times are tough, it always helps to have someone to listen to you, but when words can't explain anger, depression, pain, or isolation, the ear becomes useless. In this case we agree that art may serve to part the clouds just enough to let the sun shine through in the form of a smile. E4 Initiatives agrees that art is an excellent form of personal expression and can be used as a practical outlet for emotions, allowing children to communicate or share without speaking.
Art 4 Kids works with local organizations in Costa Rica that provide art activity and art therapy to children who have suffered physical, psychological, and socio economic abuse. Art 4 Kids provides volunteers and funding for local authorized organizations focused on programs that improve children's quality of life through art.
