Education is the first of our initiatives because we are most passionate about it. Ecological, economic, and ecotourism initiatives are dependent on education, formal and informal. If we want the next generation to practice conservation and responsible tourism we need to teach them how to do it. Doing things yourself solves problems in the here and now, taking someone by the hand and showing them how do fix, care for, and protect something helps ensure that your problem is converted to positive growth rather than temporary resolution.
E4 is focused on education in places that are primed for tourism development. IT IS THE OPINION of E4 Initiatives, that many schools in these areas do not have the resources necessary to provide the best educational opportunities for youth living there. Education, especially English as a second language, is imperative for anyone interested in future economic self promotion within the tourism industry.
We feel that local communities have a responsibility to care for the quality of grammar school and high school education. The future success of local tourism economies rests in the hands of our youth. We should naturally strive to provide them with everything they need to accomplish the visions and goals that we share.
For this reason E4 Initiatives has developed programs that draw awareness to schools in need of assistance. E4 has taken the first step to establish travel services that include volunteer activities focused on education as well as a giving branch providing financial support for these initiatives. We call on local businesses and individuals in these areas to lend support and assistance when possible.
At E4 we are committed to taking the time to review the situation of each school receiving aid to ensure that volunteer efforts and donations are being directed appropriately to address the specific needs of the school. We talk with teachers, students, and principals one on one to find out what their plans, goals, and aspirations are for their respective schools. From there we present this report to the local community and Ministry of Education so that they are aware of our intentions to provide assistance.
